This single-story facility consolidates the functions of three Battalion Units and one Regiment Unit, providing each Unit with a secured area. The facility includes a common corridor, restrooms, training room, classroom, electrical / mechanical room, and telecommunication room. Site improvements include sidewalks with curbs and gutters, and covered humvee parking spaces surrounded by security fences and gates.

The VMA Team integrated, managed, and, monitored the LEED-NC self-certification process by completing the LEED-NC Checklist and the LEED-NC Letter Templates. Goals were established for the total value of recycled content materials and developed green specs including language for reference standards, construction waste reduction, material reuse and recycling, and low emitting materials.
